Thought for today, the 3rd June, 2015, from my Japanese calendar:
The Greatest Joy is Making Others Happy. “You can find true happiness when you are willing to do things to make the people around you happy.”
I am acknowledging my thanks and appreciation to all of you who took the time to send me your kind comments regarding my Report on Nga Manu I sent out recently. It makes it all worthwhile taking the time to inform you all my whanaunga of what is going on in lil’ ole Rafiti!! My Reporting is the easiest part, I wouldn’t be able to do it without the coordination and cooperationof all those responsible for bringing it all together for which I am truly thankful. It is so rewarding when I receive comments from whanau in Wisconsin, Aussie, France, Dubai, and of course Tamaki Makaurau and Aotearoa generally – and they are usually from whanau who have grown up here In Rawhiti or whose families were here in the early days, and I know, from their comments it gives them a buzz!
No reira, e nga whanau, I’ll keep reporting if the old fingers can keep gliding over these keys, it becomes a bit difficult when I have to stop and ‘firrem up” – and it has now come to that time!!!
Nga mihi ki a kotou aku whanaunga me te arohanui tonu, X x Na te kuia nei
Lovely article, lovely idea to publish it…blog it. Thank you.
